CHRISTMAS SONG CONTEST AT THE OLD PAPER MILL

We are delighted to announce that the Muzofilia Artistic Foundation has become a co-organizer of the 2nd Christmas Song Contest

“MUSIC CONNECTS GENERATIONS – CHRISTMAS AT THE OLD PAPER MILL,”

which will take place on December 7, 2025, at the Old Paper Mill in Konstancin-Jeziorna!

This unique, magical event is created in cooperation with the Stara Papiernia Shopping Center and Pomodoro Ristorante a Vino, which will also provide a festive treat for all participants.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The contest is intended for vocal groups – we invite:

• soloists,

• duets,

• trios,

• vocal groups of up to 6 people,

• and family, multi-generational ensembles in the special category “Music Connects Generations.”

We warmly welcome sister/brother duets, siblings, as well as performances combining different generations of the same family.

WHAT SHOULD BE PERFORMED?

Each participant prepares one Christmas-themed song – in Polish or in any foreign language.

Allowed repertoire includes:

• popular music,

• film music,

• carols and pastorals,

• and even original compositions!

Own interpretation, arrangement, and live instruments are permitted.

APPLICATIONS – UNTIL DECEMBER 5, 2025

The application form is available on the Foundation’s website.

After filling it in, please send it to: muzofilia.promocja@gmail.com

The application must include:

• names of the participants or group name,

• category (duet, group, family),

• song title and author,

• music backing track (file or link),

• contact details.

Entry fee: 50 PLN (a donation supporting the Foundation’s statutory activities — details in the regulations).

SCHEDULE – DECEMBER 7, 2025

13:00–16:00 – contest auditions

18:00 – winners’ concert, award ceremony, and a performance by a special guest

Performances will be evaluated by a professional Jury — musicians, vocal coaches, and artists.

AWARDS

Among the awards are distinctions for:

• best repertoire choice,

• best instrumental–vocal performance,

• most original interpretation,

• best family performance,

• best Polish and international Christmas song,

• the Old Paper Mill Owner’s Award,

• Personality of the Contest Award (a package of vocal lessons from the Foundation),

• special Jury Prize,

• and an exceptional opportunity to perform at the official opening of the new building at the Old Paper Mill!
